Ofcourse immediately add usb-host capabilities with this tutorial : USB HOST FOR GP2X. This is the cheapest (in cost and electricity bills) 24/7 linux device available (with a range of apps running a little webserver to using usb-wireless to activate other pc's in the house on demand).
